According to BCBS Health Plus (NY) Medicaid Plan -in order to comply with the flu vaccine reimbursement policy of NY DOH, starting 11/01/2020 Empire BCBS Health Plus (Empire), will reimburse both capitated and fee-for-service contracted providers for FLU VACCINES.
The following codes will apply to this policy and will be reimbursed accordingly:

If you are a NY provider that has already administered flu vaccine to the BCBS HealthPlus member prior to this notice and did not include this service on the claim, please submit a (corrected claim) with an appropriate code (s) to receive additional reimbursement and QUALITY measure.
