Are you a NY provider that performs evaluations for a wheelchair? Then this blog post is for you!

For NYS medicaid fee for service members: change will be effective 1/1/26.

For NYS Managed Medicaid Members members this change will be effective 3/1/26.

The updated reimbursement applies ONLY to providers that bill outside of Article 28 place of service.

For providers that perform services in clinic-based settings (Article 28) and Article 28 hospital outpatient departments and diagnostic and treatment centers- the reimbursement will remain the same.
