For any eligibility request  done through the EDI clearing house and sent to CignaHealthcare^® providers need the following information:

• Contact your EDI directly to ensure that 270 request- eligibility, coverage,benefits- has the NPI is required in NM109 with an “XX” qualifier in NM108.
• TIN numbers are allowed only for atypical providers
• For any transaction with submitted without the proper info will be returned with 999 and a rejection on it.
