The compliance of your office is key to less audits and less disruptions to your cashflow!

If you are a new provider that is submitting an application to NC Medicaid or re-enrolling, or verifying your status as a  NC Medicaid Community Behavioral Health provider with NC Medicaid? Then this blog post is for you!

This change became effective 3/26/23 for any provider that has selected the following taxonomy code: 251S00000X

As a provider what do you need to do?

• Fill out the provider form – that is also used if you need to submit a manage change request (MCR) to add the above mentioned taxonomy code

By filling out this form the provider attestation to the following:

• Fully able to perform the services in NC Medicaid program
• Services fall within the scope of the taxonomy code selected
• To contract with at least one NC Behavioral Health Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities Tailored Plan.
• Comply with all NC clinical coverage requirenments

If your office is not a Community Intervention Services (CIS) provider, indicate so by marking the appropriate box.
