Does your office see Oxford Commercial Plan Members? – new change for 2020 is coming!

New* For 2020-UnitedHealthCare announced that Oxford (Commercial Plan) members will start to receive new benefit cards. There will be several changes.

These changes as follows:

  1. The new ID number will be 11-Digit ID
  2. The Group number will ONLY contain numbers
  3. The UHCprovider. com will be on the back of the cards.

The Payer ID will NOT CHANGE it will remain as 06111

*You will be able to use the UHCprovider.com for secure member transactions, including checking eligibility, benefits and claims.

Empire BCBS (an Anthem Company)- New Provider Network Updates- for 2020

Episode 3

As of 01/01/2020 Empire BlueCross BlueShield will launch an NEW provider network.

The name of this network will be “Connection”.

The coverage area will be Downstate New York area: Bronx, Brooklyn, Queens, Manhattan, Staten Island, Nassau, Suffolk, Westchester and Rockland

The network will be available for Local and National Small and Large Groups.

There will be word “Connection” written on the top of patients ID cards.

Please refer to the following list regarding network Prefixes:

*Please remember both EPO and Gatekeeper EPO do not have out of network benefits. You as a provider have to be in network in order to see members enrolled in these plans.

Empire BCBS Plans (an Anthem Company)- Networks Update-Blue Priority and Pathway Networks-2020

Episode 1.

Starting 01/01/2020- no new members will be enrolled into the Blue Priority and Pathway Networks. The current members will continue their membership in Blue Priority Network throughout 2020. For Blue Priority Network-if you, as a provider, participate in this network, please continue to see its members throughout 2020.

This announcement does not mention if you, as a provider, could see members if they are enrolled into Pathway Networks. Please contact your Network Management Consultant for more information.
