Did you hear? SOMOS IPA will no longer be INN with EmblemHealth as of 7/1/26.
What is changing for providers?
- The SOMOS IPA affected by this were notified via email
- The providers that have separate contracts with EmblemHealth either solo or group- will remain INN
- UM will be now performed through EmblemHealth directly
- Claim processing- EmblemHealth
- Plans affected: HARP, Child Health Plus, Essential Plans
What should members expect?
- Pregnant members that received care as of 6/30/26 can still receive the medical care through the whole pregnancy- from SOMOS IPA provider
- Any members that receive continuous care from the SOMOS IPA provider can still receive care for the next 90 days: 7/1/26-9/29/26
- Members will receive new cards with EmblemHealth info
- Member ID #s will not change
- Members currently receiving care management from SOMOS IPA will be transitioned to EmblemHealth case manager
- Member copays, and plans are not affected
