Are you a NY provider that has Fidelis members with Essential Plan that require infusion services? Then this blog post is for you!

Starting for any DOS 8/1/26 and thereafter, Fidelis will review infusion services for site of care and will request the provider to transition the member from OUTPATIENT HOSPITAL SETTING (POS 22/19) to either home infusion site (POS 12) or Ambulatory Infusion Site (POS 49).

This change applies to the Fidelis members with the following Dx:

• Crohn’s disease
• Immunoglobin disorder
• Psoriasis
• Multiple Sclerosis
• And other rare diseases

Fidelis will work in collaboration with providers:

• To evaluate the members clinical appropriateness
• Ensure COC woth minimal disruption
• Referrals to alternative sites
