Are you a NY provider that accepts NYS Medicaid, Managed Medicaid Plans, HARP and see a reduction your payments as far as for DOS 4/1/26? Then this blog post is for you!

Background:

In 2022-2023 NYS Medicaid Budget a 1% of ATB medicaid increase was enacted for all non Exempt Providers.

Update:

However for 2024-2025 budget- NYS Medicaid Legislature removed that increase.

Affecting Payments:

As a result – NY providers may start to see a 1% ABT reductions of their payments.

Payers like Emblem Health announced that they will reprocess the claims and apply this payment reduction retroactively to claims DOS 4/1/24 until 3/31/26.
