As of July 29th, 2026- NYS Medicaid updated its Telehealth Provider Manual.

What has changed? The following are some changes that were implemented: (for a complete list please click here.

• added guidance for newly created CPT codes “99445“ and “99470“- 99445- new code (2026)- short monitoring RPM- supply and transmission of data- within 30 days; 99470-new code (2026) for RPM – treatment management code designed for 10–19 minutes per calendar month
• D9991- updated info
• updated Medicare flexibility expiration date
• revised teledentistry billing grid by site and location
• relabeled for section 9.16.2 Article 28 Clinic Billing by On-Site Presence billing grid categories
