Empire BCBS (for NY providers)- reminder of address change for FEP claims and correspondence.

Empire BCBS FEP (Federal Employee program) no longer uses the following address to submit the claims or correspondence.

The new Correct Address for submitting paper claims and correspondence is:

The claims sent to the OLD address will NO LONGER BE FORWARDED TO THE NEW ADDRESS!

Empire NYSHIP- immunization claim submission changes for 2020

Effective 01/01/2020- for dates on or after 01/01/2020-when NYSHIP Empire patients will get immunization services in outpatient Hospital (POS 22), Empire BCBS will consider these claims.

BEFORE 01/01/2020-claims need to be submitted to UHC, NYSHIP-s medical benefit administrator

Please remember all claims are subject to standard medical necessity guidelines and contract limitations.

Empire BCBS Plans (an Anthem Company)- Networks Update-Blue Priority and Pathway Networks-2020

Episode 1.

Starting 01/01/2020- no new members will be enrolled into the Blue Priority and Pathway Networks. The current members will continue their membership in Blue Priority Network throughout 2020. For Blue Priority Network-if you, as a provider, participate in this network, please continue to see its members throughout 2020.

This announcement does not mention if you, as a provider, could see members if they are enrolled into Pathway Networks. Please contact your Network Management Consultant for more information.
